About Tiffany Bigham

I’m excited to continue the strong legacy of Garfield activities as aim to redefine the standards for both academic & athletic excellence, service to community and fun in schools. Fortifying Garfield culture and youth advocacy is my passion and believes athletics & activities are great avenues to develop young leaders. I received my master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership from Seattle University in 2017 and completed my undergraduate degree in Journalism at Portland State University. During my time at PSU, I competed as a Division I Track & Field student-athlete. There, I was awarded Big Sky Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for stellar academic and athletic performance and currently holds two top-10 school records for Discus and Shot Put. Did I mention I’m a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc! Also the former Executive Director of the MLK FAME Community Center in the Central District and has worked in the Garden Grove (CA), Bellevue, Highline, and Seattle School Districts with organizations like the Boys & Girls Club and College Success Foundation. I am currently endorsed as a Certificated Career & Technical Education teacher and has been a member of the Bulldog family at Garfield since 2018. I fully expect to see all Bulldogs, new and old, back in the building to support our young people and programs. Any TRUE DAWGS in the house, STAND UP!
