I am a Team Lead for Marketplace Appeals with a background in claims processing for Texas Superior, Mississippi Magnolia, Ambetter Appeals, Adjustments, and Correspondence. I also have experience in Medical Billing, Insurance Verification, and Medical Records. I have converted a medical office from paper filing to digital records as well as establishing an electronic database for patient records and billing. I was also responsible for all billing, payments, and invoicing for the entire office. Since starting at Centene I have also participated in special projects to review contracts and payclass guides for manually pricing hospital, dialysis, and medical claims. I have also conducted training classes for my team and my department, as well as served as the point person, and interim claims support analyst.
