About Tiffany Corwin

I have been involved in healthcare in a variety of roles for 15 years. Currently, I am a commissioned officer (1st Lieutenant) with the Air Force Reserves where I operate as the Officer in Charge of resource management in an Aeromedical Evacuation unit with a mission of evacuating patients around the world. I manage numerous programs, such as, enlisted and officer performance reviews, authorization for orders, and publications for Dobbins Air Reserve Base. Throughout my years in the medical field and military I have developed a passion for managing projects and programs. I am currently working on acquiring my certified associate of project management certification through Project Management Institute. Previously, I was active duty military with the United States Air Force for 4.5 years. I was the project manager for the patient safety program, infection control program, and the training of new respiratory therapists. I received many accolades throughout my active duty military career, such as, cardiopulmonary tech of the year, most valuable preceptor, and non-commissioned officer of the quarter. After active duty, I joined the Air Force Reserves as a Unit Training Manager. My job skills included managing the training program for 40 plus members to include a variety of training requirements and deadlines. This job required monthly status of training briefings with the Wing Commander, tuition assistance approval for college funds, activating military education benefits, and developing training programs for a variety of positions. In the civilian sector, I held a position as a registered respiratory therapist with Greenville Memorial Hospital where I managed patients suffering from chronic or acute lung conditions, such as, cancer, chronic pulmonary obstructive disease, and others. I hold a medical license in the state of South Carolina as a registered respiratory care practitioner.
