About Tiffany Patton

Dr. Patton has served in leadership roles in both traditional public school and charter school settings with experience at all three levels of K-12 education. Her doctoral research on Principal Leadership Strategies and Professional Development for Leading Schools with High Concentrations of Poverty, speaks to her desire to protect the right children have to a high quality education and support the courageous and heart-driven leaders who embrace this challenge every day. She has been a panelist recently on a webinar with BetterLesson to share strategies for addressing student’s mental health needs and with Lexia to discuss how she is using their products to integrate Science of Reading aligned practices into the core content areas in the secondary classrooms. Dr. Patton has held roles as a Director of Professional Development, Building Principal, Assistant Principal, Founding Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Classroom Teacher. In addition to these roles, Dr. Patton has led principal training workshops at MAESP annual conferences and assisted with designing a new teacher training program curriculum with TNTP for the Charlotte Mecklenburg District. Dr. Patton serves as an Executive Coach with BetterLesson where she coaches principals from across the country, an Equity Consultant with Equity Matters where she supports leaders in Cleveland and Washington, D.C. with equity-centered initiatives and a Chief Consultant with her consulting business entitled, Results Driven Educational Consulting where she specializes in school improvement planning, instructional coach development, and classroom management training. She is a graduate of Relay GSE's National Principal Fellowship, the Institute for Education Innovation’s Aspiring Superintendent Program and the Missouri Association of School Administrator’s Aspiring Superintendent Program. Dr. Patton is a community service oriented leader who serves with two nonprofit organizations as a Vice Chair of the Board of Directors (Empower Missouri) and the Programming Committee Chair (Access Academies). Dr. Patton earned a doctorate and masters degree in Educational Leadership from St. Louis University and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. But most notably, she is a mom to Zari, her 10 year old daughter who is a gifted artist that enjoys drawing anime characters and playing violin, soccer, and Roblox.
