About Tiffany Peeples

As the Billing Manager for a large group of specialty physicians, I helped nearly double net revenue from fiscal year 2014 to fiscal year 2015, increasing annually as we grow. Through synergy with administration and operations personnel, I contributed many process improvement policies for daily accounting reconciliation, cash-handling procedures, charge capture processes, and overall revenue cycle performance enhancement at the physician practice level. I am a Certified Professional Coder with years of experience coding Evaluation and Management services and General Surgery, Cardiology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and other specialty procedures. I oversee special projects for accounts receivables, and I served as the ICD-10 Project Manager for Athens Regional Physician Group. I organized and implemented coding outsourcing projects as a necessary cost-saving measure, and I assisted with the successful transition from paper charts to electronic medical records. This change included workflow analysis, process improvement, training, and tracking and auditing while vastly improving our communication feedback loop between the Central Billing Office where my staff and I are located and the individual specialist offices. My most rewarding purpose is managing a strong and successful team of skilled A/R Specialists, Payment Posters, and Data Entry Specialists.
