About Tiffany Rasul

I am currently a Senior Claims Specialist in the International Financial Lines team at AXA XL with over 5 years of industry experience. My role in Claims involves the triaging of first notices of loss, timely determination of indemnity under a wide range of policies and analysing liability and quantum exposure to formulate accurate reserves and an efficient resolution strategy. I am experienced in navigating complex and high value financial lines claims disputes in both a coverage and defence capacity. My experience spans various jurisdictions (across locally and globally issued programs) and all product lines including Cyber/ITL. I also have some experience in handling general liability claims and specialty claims. I proactively engage with Insureds, intermediaries, service providers and external counsel in all phases of the claim lifecycle whilst balancing commerciality and the robust defence of our Insureds. I continually collaborate with actuaries, underwriters, LTs and reinsurers to ensure accurate reporting and understanding of the business’s risk exposure with respect to both the claims experience generally and broader implications surrounding policy wording interpretation. I am a qualified solicitor and prior to entering the insurance industry, I practised in personal injury law at various plaintiff firms with a specialty in medical negligence.
