About Tiffany Runge

I'm currently managing a lab/field team at Hudson Carbon, where we specialize in collecting & processing soil cores for carbon & nitrogen percent determination through dry combustion (with Elementar's Vario MAX Cube). We also have an on-going long-term study of tracing greenhouse gas emissions of manure compositing from an organic dairy farm, utilizing a variety of LiCOR's scientific equipment. Related trainings: Elementar's Vario MAX cube User Level 1 & 2. FAA Part 107 Certified Remote Pilot. Prior to my transition, I worked with stream management programs for 10 years. Much of my experience was completing stream feature inventories (mapping features of interest along streams), surveying within stream & forest settings, data management & analysis, and report writing of stream management plans & other findings. I also assisted in riparian buffer plantings and vegetation monitoring with an interest to further expand my tree & shrub identification skills. Related trainings include: Wildland Hydrology (Dave Rosgen's classes) levels NYS-DEC's Water Assessments by Volunteer Evaluators (WAVE), and Surveying for Engineers college coursework. I have some experience with programming and an interest to utilize these skills.
