Proven history of guiding civil project success through my social and construction management skills. Clear understanding of ‘Project management’ and ‘Business Intelligence’. Motivated to learn, grow and excel in Data Analysis. My main task is as a Project Engineer to manage all organizational, budget related and technical activities within major infrastructural projects. This includes managing the dynamic environment between the customer and the project team. But also tasks such as drawing up schedules, budget- control and forecast, system engineering, interface- and risk management. Because of my quality to easy adept to new situations, my flexibility and my quality to learn fast made it possible to perform this task for many different projects, most of the time multiple projects at the same time. Projects such as highway construction, port infrastructure, hydraulic engineering, maintainability of civil structures and the use of sensor networks for safeguarding civil structures. Due to executing the described tasks I now my way around data. That’s why I invested in gaining knowledge on Business Intelligence and BI software such as Tableau and Power BI. I use this knowledge to: • Make interactive BI dashboards for our clients. Examples include dashboards with the work progress compared the remaining budget, risk dashboards, budget forecasting dashboards. • Perform technical analysis of large data sets such as an analysis of sensor data we place at risky civil structures to know if they are still (constructively) safe or not. • Perform analysis over company data to provide the board information for business operations and development. Within my role my company gave me the freedom to perform change management. Because I have the tendency, when performing a task, to directly think about a way how I can perform the same task with less effort. Within this role I succeeded in improving company- and project processes. Like a complete new automated system to register and present project spent hours.
