My leadership of a talented team of five attorneys is characterized by a strategic, business-centric approach to legal challenges, coupled with a caring leadership style that prioritizes the well-being of my team members. Within the broader context of eBay's operations, I proudly represent the broader legal team's interests in the German Leadership Team, advocating for legal strategies that are not only robust and compliant but also aligned with our corporate values and ethical standards. My role extends beyond the confines of legal work, as I actively engage with eBay's communities of inclusion. As the executive sponsor and prior member of the changemakers team, I am at the forefront of driving initiatives give back to our local communities and foster a sense of belonging for all employees. One of the initiatives I am most proud of is the project I spearheaded, which invited a class of 9th graders into the heart of eBay. This outreach program provided these young minds with a unique opportunity to explore the tech world through a comprehensive programming course and a personality workshop, designed to spark their interest in technology and self-discovery. It not only reflects eBay's commitment to community engagement but also my personal belief in the power of mentorship and early education in shaping the innovators of tomorrow. As a parent myself, I understand the critical importance of maintaining a healthy balance between professional aspirations and family life. It is this understanding that drives my efforts to create policies and an office atmosphere that accommodate the needs of working parents, allowing them to excel in their careers while being present for their families. Fluently bilingual in German and English, I am adept at communicating complex legal concepts in simple terms and fostering meaningful collaborations across cultural boundaries.
