About Tim Arijs

Graduated as a scientist, I spent the early years of my career working in the medical field. First as a product specialist supporting labs, and then in a more commercial role for healthcare institutions and multinationals.However, I wanted a job where I could "build" something, so I picked up programming again, what I had done before during my studies. Soon I started working for a company specialized in tailor-made software. One of our applications became a product, and the company was even named after it: ProPlanner, the leading fleet management software.Over the years at ProPlanner, I have learned the challenging process of software development from A to Z, and today I take on the following key roles- functional quality manager (ensuring quality by managing tests and test engineer)- senior developer (customizing complex modules within ProPlanner like pricing engine)- project leader (mainly for integrations with external parties)- account manager (assisting key accounts during periodic workshops)
