About Tim Artus

As a coach, I seek to coach you and develop your capabilities for self-coaching, so that you can take ownership of your own development through coaching outdoors. This approach has many of the same strengths as my approach as a leader/manager and a senior lecturer. As a leader, I sought to make myself redundant by developing and supporting my teams to be able to do s great job even when I wasn't around. The long game! As a Senior Lecturer, I focussed on supporting students to 'learn to learn' so they developed the skills and capabilities to learn independently. My programmes focus on- Self-paced online programmes for coaching outdoors (COMING SOON!)- Virtual, at-distance programmes that support you to develop your self-coaching capabilities- In-person events (in the Cairngorms National Park or your location) partnering the outdoors for coaching. For those that want a bit more detail, I love coaching and supporting others' development. and love the outdoors. Living in the Scottish Highlands has given me the opportunity to establish an outstanding approach to coaching & development, working alongside nature to provide the time and space to develop and challenge ourselves. I have over 20 years of experience in coaching, leadership development, business, and facilitation, I am passionate about empowering people to become self-leaders who can thrive in any environment. As the Owner and Principal Partner of Coaching & Development: Simplified, I specialise in outdoor coaching and development for individuals and teams, using nature as a catalyst for transformation and growth.
