About Tim Belser

My remit of regulatory compliance focuses on areas crucial to Haddletons clients’ success and includes privacy / UK GDPR, competition law, GSCOP, health & safety, anti-bribery and general compliance programme reviews. I also support the wider Haddletons offering on commercial and corporate matters as well as dispute resolution / litigation. Before qualifying as a solicitor, I held leadership positions at national retailers in sales and logistics operations, finance and accounting, legal compliance and operational audit, which allows me to understand the breadth of practical challenges that businesses face. Having worked in four different business sectors (oil & gas, tech, food retail and legal) in four different countries (UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium) I always enjoy the challenge of taking on new areas of responsibility, and I am comfortable leading teams of various sizes in diverse international business remits. I enjoy exploring business opportunities and am mindful of associated risks to find the right balance to develop and provide specific and appropriate solutions that work for clients. I also enjoy supporting and leading commercial negotiations and delivering presentations at board level to obtain the required support on key corporate strategy and initiatives.
