About Tim Berendsen
After my PhD at Harvard Medical School, I started my surgical residency in the Netherlands. To continue my research during the 6 year residency program, I have obtained a Mandema scholarship under the tutelage of prof. dr. R.J Porte. Currently, I'm working with dr. C. Moers, transplant surgeon, on new methods for kidney preservation. Throughout my career in surgery, i have taken a keen interest in fitness to perform, peer support, communication, EH & S, and digital medicine. In this capacity, i was able to contribute to several fitness to perform programs across several health care institutions.To supplement my medical training and indulge my keen interest in business, I started an MBA at TIAS school of business in 2021, focusing on change management and occupational health.
