Founder of Smart Supplier - an innovative software app developed to effectively collaborate with your supply chain, master supply chain data and demonstrate compliance to statutory food safety requirements. Having provided consultancy services and project managed the delivery of software applications to a significant number of food service operators, retailers and manufacturers since 2002 I have an exceptional understanding of the technical compliance and data challenges that are present throughout the supply chain to point of sale. I am able to operate at all levels in both small and large operations, with experience and competency across a number of sectors. I have developed technical policy for leading food service operators and retailers. Consulted, designed and implemented software and quality management systems for a significant number of food business operators to meet statutory and certification requirements to the global standard for food. I am a confident auditor having travelled to manufacturing sites within the UK and internationally, auditing against the BRC and bespoke second party requirements. I have a good understanding of current statutory requirements, future regulatory developments and have recently developed the first of a number of training initiatives with regards to allergen risk assessment. I have experience managing teams and delivering against agreed objectives.
