About Tim Burnham

As Manager - Public Relations and Communications for nbn Local in Northwest Victoria, I strategically develop, maintain and leverage strong relationships within the region with local government, industry and community stakeholders. Through my time with nbn Local I have held specific roles including Regional Business Lead, Community Engagement Manager and Community Ambassador. These roles require strong communication, relationship development and engagement skills in order to drive increased digital inclusion, awareness and capabilities for regional stakeholders. Additionally, being part of nbn Local allows me to help local communities in times of need with our Emergency Management response unit. Prior to joining nbn Co I spent 18 years in the regional television/radio/digital media industry across NSW and Victoria with Southern Cross Austereo. Most recently I was General Sales Manager of Southern Cross Austereo Bendigo and have also spent time in engaging SMEs to help improve their Workplace Health & Safety and Employee Relations systems, processes and practices.
