About Tim Burt

I love seeing SMEs thrive, especially when they are up against it, and get the pleasure of supporting them to do this through the use of finance. At BEF, I get to do this through leading our Start Up Loans team, who are consistently delivering good outcomes for clients by understanding their stories, why they are passionate about their business and their plans for the future. BEF complements mainstream banking services by enabling people to access funding that they may need to start a new business or to improve or grow an existing business. We deliver the government Start Up Loans scheme across Yorkshire, The Humber, The North East and the rest of the UK. With over £10m lent in the last financial year through this scheme, we have seen real impact in peoples' lives through the creation of jobs, but also the wider ripple effect which sees communities transformed through the use of finance. If you are passionate about your business or know someone who is, please get in touch, I would love to chat and see how we can help you thrive.
