Leader in health promotion and employee health management program development and implementation with 17 years of hospital-based experience at Intermountain Healthcare's LDS Hospital and 25 years experience with Intermountain Healthcare/SelectHealth. Expertise in clinical applications of health mangement activities that have included: disease management programs, inpatient and outpatient programs for cardiac rehabilitation, obesity treatment, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pain management, stress management, smoking cessation, and chronic low back pain. Manager of Health Promotion Services at SelectHealth from 1992-2002 pioneering initiatives to develop and implement health promotion and disease management programs to meet the needs of individuals, employers and communities in Utah. Currently serving as the Health Management Analyst with the Health and Wellness Department at SelectHealth. Strong wellness advocate with roles that have included: Chairman of the Utah Governor’s Council on Health and Fitness, President of the Utah Chapter of the Association for Fitness in Business, and active member of the Utah Council on Worksite Health Promotion. Active member of the Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO) Think Tank since 2003. Currently serving on the Work Perfomance workgroup and co-chair of the Health Care Summit planning team.
