About Tim Carlson

My most recent experience is the management of Change Healthcare’s Risk Adjustment Medicare Customer Success team supporting related services for health plan payer clients. The team is compromised of customer success managers and analysts who support all revenue management products and services. I have worked in the healthcare industry for over twenty two years, with over twelve years specific to revenue management services for the Medicare, Medicaid, and Affordable Care Act Commercial markets. Prior to my current role, I transitioned from risk adjustment program management to account management as Account Director for a three-year period during a transformation of multiple legacy companies into one company. During this time, I was responsible for managing client relationships and activities spanning all revenue management products and services. My background in health insurance systems and technology includes direct work experience in claims systems, enrollment systems, provider systems, member systems, government program management, product management, marketing, and client services. I was a senior consultant manager for eight years at Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania prior to joining legacy Altegra Health’s Risk Analytics and Encounter Reporting Division in 2009. Prior to working in the Health Insurance industry, I managed commercial banking technology services for two of the largest U.S. banks for fourteen years and was awarded an industry-leading innovation in advanced bank card technology. I also co-founded a super-regional multi-industry Electronic Data Interchange forum in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science from Rowan University of New Jersey with concentration studies in Physics.
