I have over 20 years of experience in Information Technology focusing on Web, n-tier and n-layer applications on Windows and Linux platforms, starting as a systems engineer and progressing through project, program, and personnel management. Throughout my career I have incorporated best practices for managing the expectations of the customers, teams, and business units. I possess skills in mentoring and managing people, problem solving, conflict resolution, team building, technical infrastructure management, and budget development. Having worked for several Fortune 500 companies including UnitedHealth Group, 3M, Wells Fargo, US Bank, Target, Best Buy, Verizon, and GMAC, I am familiar with the large corporate environment and know how to communicate effectively with all levels of technical and business personnel. I have also worked with smaller, growth focused companies, such as PeopleNet Communications, Macromedia, and Behavior Alert Systems and understand growth marketing and sales pressures. These skills and my customer focused attitude enable me to excel high-pressure, public-facing, enterprise management roles.
