About Tim Cavallin

I am an accomplished Insurance, Finance and Actuarial Executive (FSA, FCIA 1998) with international experience in the Life & Health (re)insurance industry and a track record of leading teams and companies towards their full potential. My commercial and collaborative management style, combined with an optimistic "can do" attitude, naturally lends itself to leading cross-functional teams. As a CFO and Appointed Actuary, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the various business and operational teams to optimize processes, growth and bottom line results. I have accumulated a broad range of experience that includes typical CFO mandates, product development and pricing, risk management, valuation, financial reporting and management, strategic and financial planning, capital management, and ALM. My product knowledge covers a vast array of products within the individual life, annuities, group life & health, living benefits and pension/longevity sectors. I have expertise in pricing and negotiating M&A deals, and insurance block appraisals. I am an experienced CFO and Appointed Actuary, and regularly meet and present to Board and senior management on topical business matters.
