About Tim Cocks

In my view, being an effective finance leader in project-led businesses comes down to enabling constant change. From project and cashflow cycles to scale-downs and hyper growth, finance plays a key role in both stabilising and growing a business. To this mission, I leverage 20+ years of experience across the finance ecosystem to build best in class business models and teams with the agility and flexibility to add commercial value. I came to finance from the ground-up, working my way through a series of transactional, project and divisional roles to head up finance departments as a trusted business partner to C-suite. Today, I offer a deep understanding of the interdependencies and risks of funding, infrastructure and construction delivery environments, facilitating multi-year strategies and business plans that deliver cost-effective growth. Most recently I have played a key role in the turnaround and hypergrowth of Martinus Rail, building finance capability, systems, and processes from the ground-up to facilitate 5-fold growth in just one financial year.
