Why out for injuries, I am attending school, trying to bring my computer skills and knowledge up to people twenty years younger, so I can avoid the current problems some people in my field are facing with mechanical and electrical skills that are stronger than those below us, but computer skills that are lacking when compared to younger generations coming into the work force, which some employers mistake for accelerated knowledge, usually by those who have older managers, who's computer skills are lacking they tend to be fooled by modern technology, and under simplify the rest of the knowledge that takes years to attain. The easiest way to avoid this pitfall is to educate yourself more. So i have become proficient in Microsoft excel,word,power point, and office.org, as well as several other software programs, and energy management systems, future plans are most likely to educate maintenance technicians, and help them improve their on job performance, since I am now in a retirement setting but young enough I am still interested in teaching.
