I’m Attorney Timothy Conlon and I formed The Custody Place to be the place in Frederick Maryland to go for child custody issues. Our emphasis is on Children, Custody, Visitation and Child Support. In addition, we handle Divorce cases and other aspects of Family Law in Frederick Maryland. Short list of my accomplishments to date: • Law clerk to the first African American judge in the State of Alaska • Handled Alaska legal services native allotment litigation in anchorage Alaska for Athabascan Natives in Central Alaska • Maryland law clerk to Judge John Privas in Baltimore City • Law clerk to the judges of the Frederick Maryland Circuit Court • Worked on “Women Against Abuse Project” for the Philadelphia district attorney's office obtaining protective orders for abused women in Philadelphia on brief published opinion in the Maryland Appellate Court respecting domestic violence protective orders • Handled noteworthy domestic cases including several covered in the local and national media including Oprah magazine, Doctor Phil and Montel Wlliams • Author of many published child custody articles including “Fredericks Child” magazine • member of the Better Business Bureau • Member of the Supervised Visitation Network • Registered with the United States Department of State for International Child Abduction Legal Practice Areas with the most experience: • Child Custody Law • Divorce Law • Child Support I was born in Reading Pennsylvania. My father was Irish Catholic my mother was German Protestant. Since my father left the family when I was 10 years old I identify more principally with my mother's Pennsylvania Dutch culture.
