Problem Statement: Vulnerable young people in America and the rest of the world are routinely forced to suffer threatening conditions at home, school, work, and just about everywhere, especially LGBT youth. They cannot express their inner self, they cannot pursue their outer journey, they desire to escape, but they do not know how. They need safe havens with smart people with the means to help. Purpose Statement: To find solutions to this problem using statistically sound, scientific, and achievable methods that have a reasonable likelihood of helping youth of all types and values who might otherwise suffer great harm at the hands of others. or themselves (because they lose hope). Research Question: What feasible courses of action are there for creating and delivering the social benefit of intervening on behalf of young people to prevent their neglect, harassment, bullying, and assault so that they can be helped BEFORE they lose hope? My Approach: There is always hope and will. 20 yrs, US Air Force. Retired Cyberspace Operations Officer, Communications Officer, and Officer Aircrew with extensive operational and HQ-level staff expertise. Wide range of experience includes acquisition, executive assistant, action officer, advocacy, capability analysis, tactical communications, base-level networking, system administration, software engineering project management, and airborne command, control, and communications. 3.5 yrs post-Air Force defense contractor-company owner, functional analyst with a focus on financial & operational advocacy, capability gap and doctrinal analysis, operational requirements documentation, solution analysis and reviews, ROI reports and analytic artifacts. Writing and briefing skills helped gain a variety of programs validation with financial boosts within a tight Department of Defense budget. 2 yrs at Regal Entertainment Group as IT project manager. Managed technology insertion, enterprise management (ServiceNow), IT training, testing/QA, business analytics, and BA work. 1 yr as freelance copy-editor. Supporting two firms with overseas support editing and improving post-doc PhD journal and convention articles in fields of computer science, economics, fine arts, physics, mathematics, business administration, and physical science.
