About Tim Cummings

After graduating with a BA in Technical Theater in 2010, I was immediately employed by Royal Caribbean and worked in live events there for 3 years resigning my tenure with them in a specialist position largely dealing with the rigging and automation aspects of live shows. I moved to Dallas and immersed my self in corporate/live events atarting at the ground level as a technician for PSAV. In that position, I worked my way up to Technical Lead quickly where I was assigned to various shows as an L1 (Lighting Lead). During this time, I was presented with the unique challenge and opportunity of assuming the mantle of Floor Coordinator at my property. In this role I was the client facing side to our Operations department and was primarily responsible for our clients customer service experience and the management of any issues that should arise on the floor. When I was in that role, I received 12 "Hyatt Purple Keys" which are individual service citations awarded by different clients who spent over a certain threshold at the hotel. Twice I was named "Location Employee of the Month" and in 2016 I was named "Regional Employee of the Year" for my category, a decision based on outstanding customer service shown at my post. In 2017, I was called up to serve as Operations Coordinator as our Operations Manager moved on to other pastures. In October 2019 I moved on to our location at the Worthington Renaissance PSAV office with the job title of Operations Manger. Currently working with Encore Global @ Gaylord Texan as Operations Manager over Equipment
