About Tim Daniels

With over 38 years in the software industry, I have extensive experience in driving the growth of small to medium sized software companies having held senior sales and regional operational management roles (in UK and EMEA) with companies such as IBM, BMC Software, Acta Technology (acquired by Business Objects who in turn were acquired by SAP) and more recently Informatica Corporation where I was Managing Director of the UK subsidiary company. In 2008 I, along with my fellow Director, Dave Richmond acquired a controlling equity stake in the Videalert business. In April 2019 the business was acquired by Marston Holdings. After a transitional period with Marston Holdings I assumed an interim management role with MyPeople, leveraging my experience in enterprise data management software. and focused on accelerating revenue growth. I am a highly motivated and disciplined individual combining strong "Solution Selling" methodology and process with natural creative flair. Throughout my career I have consistently demonstrated the need for organisations to change their Sales model form a point product focus to a business solution oriented sell and successfully managed its adaptation into the sales organisation. I am a natural leader and team builder with strong interpersonal and organisational skills in relation to people and tasks. I have BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies from London Metropolitan University.
