In the aerospace industry, I do it with finding new ways to solve client needs and identifying new markets that leverages my international and OEM background. I orchestrate a space where customers, requirements and partnerships work together. I’ve driven the end-to-end business development of aerospace replacement spares, repairs and modification services resulting in over $120MM in sales with military global markets. My over 25 years-experience negotiating for OEM’s servicing the US military taught me listening to the customer is paramount to avoid unexpected nosedives when you least expect it. We owe our customers and internal organizations accuracy while making every attempt to meet their requirements. WHAT I DO I oversee the sustainment of actuation systems, architect new solutions for legacy platforms, and partner internally and externally to meet critical timelines and expectations. When I lead the planning, qualifying and contract negotiation, I do it by prioritizing efficiency and cost. I persuade the people around me through presentations and data. I think about functional upgrades and new applications that uplifts reliability and addresses cost. I analyze numbers to present options of incremental costs and benefits. Technology insertion energizes me the most. Implementing a new technology redesign for a valve with Boeing was one of my proudest achievements. It takes longer than eight seconds to meet business targets, but the journey is what really matters – working with people and adding value to meet or exceed the required support. KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Successfully integrated UH-60 Pitch Trim upgrade as a qualified modification with U.S. Army Engineering Redstone for new replacement spare resulting in $45 MM in incremental business. • Established framework for Public-Private Partnership for UH-60 Upgrade-Overhaul program at Corpus Christi Army Depot securing $54MM • Led the Overhaul-Modification Program with Lockheed-Marietta and USAF generating sales of +$300M. • Established a robust upgrade program with Sikorsky for S92 VCAS Upgrade program resulting in new sales of $14M over 5 years.
