I am a skilled and experienced Product Manager and Analytical Chemist with a diverse range of marketing and product management-related experience including marketing plans, pricing and margin determination, product development, product launches, supporting products throughout their lifecycle, as well as applications development and support. I also have extensive experience including research, development, applications, method development, data analysis, use and maintenance of a wide range of analytical instrumentation, and instrument design. Currently, I am the global product manager for the applied markets business unit of a biotech company. My goal is to leverage our extensive product portfolio and R&D skills to bring products to new markets and adapt existing technologies to be used in new and novel ways. I manage products and markets that cover environmental testing - including ATP analysis, Legionella, wastewater, and related water testing. I've worked in the corporate sector (small, medium, and large companies), academia, and private research. I've tackled a wide variety of laboratory-based projects for a broad range of disciplines including pharmaceuticals, forensics, separation and purification, geology, and polymers. In particular, I have worked extensively with Raman Spectroscopy and Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS), while utilizing a diverse range of Raman instruments.
