I have been fortunate to have proven myself to the right person at the right time. I started my career as an analyst for an investment advisory firm, CP Baker, Inc. I worked closely with the CEO on ensuring he had the information he needed to make critical business decisions. In addition, I was entrusted with reinvigorating the sales and marketing as well as operations processes for several CP Baker-owned companies. Eventually, I was given the full-time responsibility of focusing on the Boston Institute of Finance (BIF), a $300K business at the time, taking on the director of operations role to transition and streamline systems and processes. Earning the promotion to COO, I was charged with continuing to rebuild and improve BIF. Through cost-saving measures, operational efficiencies, and strategic hiring and partnership development, company revenue grew to $1M. In 2020, I was asked to take on the role of CEO for BIF and have grown it to the $4.5M company it is today. Examples of my recent career highlights include: Grew company revenue from $1M to $4.5M in two years through strategic partnerships; recruiting, hiring, and training a top-performing team; shaping product strategy focused on scalability; and consistently looking for ways to improve upon operations, technology, and products. Transformed the company from a sales-focused to a high-quality, product-centric, and customer-focused company, drastically improving the company’s reputation in the financial services industry and recruiting and retaining top instructor talent. Migrated company to new technology, saving the company $1M+ and improving the customer experience. I have a bachelor of science in business administration from Ithaca College.
