About Tim Duthie

The world is changing faster than ever before. Organizations can choose to innovate and drive change or risk obsolescence by letting change drive them. I lead change to achieve a faster and higher rate of adoption by building understanding with stakeholders. Working with executive leadership, I build a vision for projects that focus on the behaviour changes required to achieve the desired results. By starting with that end in mind, we can build an understanding of how we want to use the processes, systems, and new capabilities to be leveraged. Change should increase revenue or margin or reduce expenses or risk. Clarity on the reason for the change is the first key to stakeholder adoption. To build clarity for stakeholders, I prepare simple, clear, and straightforward communication through multiple channels. Most people's busy days can cause messages to be lost, skipped over, or forgotten. I optimize communication to find new and innovative ways to reach stakeholders with consistency and clarity. The result of change should be building new or improved capabilities in the organization, its people, and the project team. The most rewarding projects have been when the organization has been transformed and the people involved have grown with it.
