Now working to improve the BAS experience for small business taxpayers and protect the revenue that provides Australia’s essential services. I have been with the ATO for over 5 years working a range of roles focused on small and medium enterprises. The position suits my experience and skill set, with my excellent communication skills, first-hand knowledge of the small business sector and the importance of the very best outcome for all stakeholders. I have operated a Registered BAS Agency and Business Administration consultancy. With more than 20 years experience in Finance, Business Administration and Compliance I provided a high standard of service in a range of business structures and environments. I have extensive knowledge of a range of computer accounting software packages. I have excellent IT, research & data management skills which greatly complement my innate Technical Accounting abilities. I have a broad spectrum of experience in a variety of work environments and industries including building industry, manufacturing, floristry, wine mercantilism,retail management, fire management, real estate and now superannuation, indirect and income tax compliance, as well excellent soft skills and many practical skills.
