About Tim Eisele

Currently employed at Holidu as a Java/Kotlin software developer for the Agentic Experience Department, working on implementing AI tooling for real-world use cases, focussing on product enrichment and workflow automation. Over the last years I worked with different technologies within the cloud space, with a focus on operating Kubernetes environments and their associated tooling. The latter includes working with AWS, Jenkins, GitLab and GitHub CI/CD, Hetzner cloud services and different service meshes. I'm well-versed in operating Kubernetes clusters and the adjacent technologies. In 2020 I initially joined the Jellyfin media server project as user support staff but quickly indulged learning C# and am currently working as a C# software developer on the backend in my free time. Additionally, I am part of the core team and the technical committee responsible for designing and implementing new features. Since my school days I manage my own servers and infrastructure and while studying in Karlsruhe I was responsible for operating, maintaining and supporting the infrastructure and services for 250 residents and the administration of the dorm I lived in. While working at Holidu, I gained in-depth knowledge on developing Spring-Boot based Java and Kotlin applications (monolithic and micro-service) and more recently ktor-based apps.
