Principal Environmental/HSEQ Manager with over 20 years of wide-ranging experience in environmental science, contaminated land consulting, hazardous materials, remediation contracting and environmental project management. Over the course of my career, I have served as a Technical Advisor, Lead Consultant, Superintendent, and Project Manager Contract Administrator, successfully guiding complex projects across Australia and the Asia Pacific. My career has included developing management plans and specialised documentation as a consultant, implementing those solutions in hands-on contracting roles, and reviewing and refining practices in private industry and local government. Across these roles, I’ve: Overseen full lifecycle projects, ensuring alignment with PMBOK, regulatory standards, and corporate governance frameworks. Conducted EMS/WHS audits, managing licencing and regulation requirements, and delivering ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 accreditation audits for diverse industries. Lead soil, groundwater, and surface water assessments, developing Remediation Action Plans (RAPs), and implementing advanced remediation technologies (including PFAS treatment). Managed closed landfill portfolios, site inspections, and environmental compliance monitoring for municipal authorities. Consulted on large-scale Defence projects, conducting strategic reviews, risk assessments, and specialised investigations for emerging contaminants. Hired, mentored and managed cross-disciplinary teams—scientists, engineers, and trades professionals—to deliver a range of complex environmental and infrastructure projects. I'm a straightforward communicator focused on delivering tangible value has enabled the management and development of teams exceeding 50 personnel on various projects. Extensive familiarity with ISO 14001, 9001, and 45001, alongside the capability to collaborate at all organisational levels.
