About Tim Hand

Motivated, reliable, professional with a degree in Communications and a successful 15+years of professional lean experience in manufacturing, healthcare, and utilities, including working with companies like Pratt and Whitney, Albany Engineering composites, Unipart Expert Practices,Alere, and Sig Sauer. I am educated and proficient in lean principles/practices within manufacturing and business processes. I am also certified as Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Flexible and versatile –During my professional career, I have progressed to my current role as starting in operations as a machine operator through systems design engineering and Implementation in varying fields including finance, human resources, manufacturing, supply chain, sales, and engineering. In my varying roles I have been implemented multiple lean systems in multiple facilities, and multiple countries for both suppliers and internal business partners for alignment in manufacturability to customer specifications and demand. I have facilitated implementation of lean operating system in France, and China as support has been needed. Selected to be a guest speaker at the 2016 Northeaster Lean Conference as presented by GBMP.
