Since graduating as an Architect over 30 years ago, I have developed a rare combination of business development, project delivery and general management skills across a wide range of industries. Career Highlights Include: • Co-founder of the Australian Climate Exchange and principal designer and author of the EmMap™ greenhouse gas emissions management system. • Commercial - Investment Manager responsible for a portfolio of over AU$ 50 million invested in the development of renewable/sustainable energy technologies • Developed the commercial parameters and procurement plan for Woodside’s Greenhouse Gas Management Strategy • Member of the review team that developed a strategic plan, business model and restructuring recommendations for Metasource, which were subsequently adopted by the Woodside Board. • As the Business Development Manager and member of the State Executive managing the Western Australian offices of Brown & Root (now KBR), managed the change from an opportunistic approach to business acquisition to strategic account management. • Project Manager for several power and water infrastructure projects for remote-area Aboriginal communities in northern Western Australia • Program Manager for the Early Childhood Program which involved the construction of around 80 pre-school classrooms per year at primary schools throughout Western Australia. • Executive Director and Principal Designer of a long established architectural firm, responsible for the design and project management of several landmark developments in Perth including the State Tennis Centre and the Trigg Island Surf Lifesaving Complex.
