I started my career in ultrasonic welding in 1978 with Dukane Corp. as an application engineer and moved into sales in 1979. In 1983 I was promoted to Western Regional Sales Manager for Dukane and transferred to Irvine, CA. 1985 became the U.S. National Sales Manager of Mecasonic-KLN Ultrasonics. I was fortunate to be mentored for three years by Dr. Jean-Pierre Scotto, the founder of Mecasonics and one of the foremost leading experts in ultrasonic welding. January 1988 founded Plastic Bonding Equipment became a manufactures representative selling the following equipment: ultrasonic welding, radio frequency, linear vibration, hot plate welding, spin welding, thermal heat sealing, Emabond welding and leak testing. April 2008, I became the Western Regional Manager for Branson Ultrasonics Corporation managing the San Dimas, CA regional office, applications lab and service center.Specialties: Ultrasonic welding application evaluation, part design and application problem solving.Application evaluation of non-ultrasonic bonding processes. Ultrasonic seminar presenter.
