As a certified public accountant and vice president of finance, I have over three decades of experience in managing and overseeing the financial operations and performance of various organizations in the food distribution and mortgage industry. I have a proven track record of streamlining processes, improving efficiency, and delivering accurate and timely financial reports and analysis. In my most recent role at Great Western Financial Services, Inc, I was responsible for the financial planning, budgeting, reporting, auditing, and compliance of the company. I also implemented and maintained accounting policies and procedures, ensured adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards. I left the company in September 2023 after nine years of service, with the goal of pursuing new opportunities and challenges in the finance field.
