Throughout my professional software development and machining careers, I've become known among my colleagues as their teammate who will lead from the front, tackle the most difficult problems, and work his tail off to make the whole group work like a well-oiled machine. Whether it's been simplifying a long-standing, cumbersome process or turning a great new idea into reality, I've taken great pride in my successful solo projects as well as the obstacles overcome by teams I've had the pleasure to work on. During my software development career I have-developed new game scripts and supporting code as well as work within legacy code to improve and expand upon current games and systems -successfully interfaced game code with external systems such as networks, RFID chips, and IR sensors, and other proprietary hardware -lead and supported intern developers to further their development skills and production capabilities During my machining career I have-improved machining processes to greatly reduce time and increase finished product quality -designed and developed mechanical solutions to complicated issues related to the function of shop equipment, aircraft maintenance operations, as well as improvement of operational safety (design of mechanically sound lifting fixtures, etc.)-trained and developed junior-level machinists to achieve their full potential With my established work ethic and enthusiasm for any project or problem at hand, I enjoy working on my current projects and eagerly await the future opportunities that come my way!
