About Tim Jenkins

For over 15 years, I’ve helped communities tell their stories, secure their rights, and shape their futures. From launching groundbreaking media platforms in Southeast Asia to co-developing national campaigns and reforms that have influenced policies, laws, and constitutions, I specialize in turning bold ideas into real-world impact. My work spans human rights, climate action, peacebuilding, and locally-led action — grounded always in deep collaboration and a belief that better is possible. I’ve co-created campaigns with leaders like Daniel Craig. I’ve advised governments, amplified grassroots movements, and engaged the U.S. Senate to keep foreign assistance aligned with frontline realities. Whether designing systems for independent media or securing bipartisan support for mine action, I bring strategy, storytelling, and staying power to everything I do. Currently, I’m the Country Representative (USA) and a senior advisor at People in Need — helping lead global partnerships, US advocacy, and philanthropic engagement to support communities facing the toughest odds. Let’s connect — especially if you’re working at the intersection of purpose, policy, and people.
