About Tim Jones

From USC Film School to a pastor in Malibu to setting tables to bring people together across the nation, I come alive when I see people come alive - primarily through meaningful connection and experiencing the adventure of living a well-told story. My calling is to set tables - where people of all walks of life can be seen and known - and see and know others. The table is - in my experience - the most powerful, equalizing, humanizing place on this planet. The table not only belongs to all people, but represents what every human wants and needs - authentic connection and belonging. We are now helping companies create cultures of connection and belonging, while our non-profit, Longer Tables, is setting extravagant tables across the nation - to bring people together in meaningful places and ways. We find ourselves in a wild story - Covid, wars, AI, globalization and the potential for connection - but yet, so much disconnection. It’s a good story. And a story worth stepping into with all of our hearts, minds, skills and souls. When I’m not setting tables on the front lines, I’m possibly drinking wine with cherished friends in Santa Barbara, shooting a film, walking the Camino in Northern Spain, swimming in the Amazon, or playing my Great-Grandparent’s upright piano they brought across the great prairie. I’m proudly a 5th Generation Colorado Native and proud to be Benjamin Franklin Wadsworth’s (Founder of the City of Arvada, Colorado) Great-Great-Grandson.
