About Tim Kennett
I recently graduated from Appalachian State a semester early with Magna Cum Laude honors. I majored in Political Science with a Concentration in Pre Professional Legal Studies. I have taken the LSAT, and will apply to attend law school for the 2025-2026 academic year. In the meantime, I am looking to obtain useful work experience that will help me decide what type of law I want to eventually practice. In addition to eventually getting my law degree, I am also looking to achieve a black belt in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo. Having started mixed martial arts at 8 years old, I have grown up boxing, kickboxing, and wrestling. After my wrestling career had ended, I tried to focus entirely on school and leave competing and martial arts in my past. It took me a full year to realize how much I missed training and competing. Beginning in the fall of 2021, I started training full time again and fell back in love with mixed martial arts. Now I coach and compete at a high level. My end goal is to eventually become an ADCC champion.
