Background

About Tim Kielmar

Tim Kielmar; I began my career in the construction industry where I worked in both the commercial and industrial sectors as a journeyman carpenter and as a journeyman pipe welder. It was during my welding career that I decided that I wanted to change my career path, which lead me to enroll at Shawnee State University where I earned an Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering. I worked in Safety for approximately one year until the Operations Manager approached me and asked if I would be interested in a new role as the Groundwater Operations Supervisor, which I accepted. In 2003 I was laid off as Groundwater Operations Manager but I also had a new opportunity to further my education. Due to the availability of educational funding at the Piketon plant I decided to take advantage while I was laid off. Once again I enrolled at the University of Findlay where I went on to earn a Masters Degree in Business Administration. After completing the MBA program again I was offered another position at the Piketon Plant as an Continued:
