I completed my CPE Internship and Residency through the Emory University at Emory Saint Joseph's.I am a APC Board Certified Chaplain.I provide supervision for all chaplains and chaplain positions at the Cherokee campus. Coordinates schedules of all chaplains at the Cherokee campus including call schedules and campus areas of focus.Provides pastoral care services to patients and their families, and hospital staff members throughout the hospital as well as supervision to other chaplain positions at the Cherokee campus. Responsibilities involve conducting spiritual needs assessments and providing spiritual care services as appropriate. Responsibilities also include facilitating after hours call schedules, facilitating support group and other patient support services, and developing and conducting education and training programs. have experience as a Chaplain for both Hospital and Hospice patient and families. I have experience in every area at Saint Joseph's including each ICU area and the Emergency Department. Experience includes providing spiritual care to all regardless of religious beliefs, providing care in the most critical circumstances including deaths. I have had extensive experience in missions, evangelism, chaplaincy and recreation ministries. I also have experience in leading other aspects of church ministry including greeters, ushers and parking lot volunteers as part of a welcoming ministry. I have also had experience in creating and implementing a medical response ministry which consisted of licensed nurses and doctors who were on call and available in care of any medical emergency during worship hours. Mission experience includes taking individuals from graduating high school seniors to adult on mission trips to the countries of Iraq, Moldova, Canada, Mexico and Russia. Domestic trips include New Orleans, New York City and Alabama.
