About Tim Kloster

As a leader in the construction industry I drive for continuous improvement and efficiency through practical approaches and good communication. I specialize in construction planning, scheduling and execution coordination for capital projects, maintenance and turnarounds. I continuously work to implement lean strategies by removing barriers and to proactively discuss/resolve issues. Gained successes through utilization of work face planning philosophy, management of project portfolio database, increased field time and tool cost reduction. Led team of schedulers and planners, responsible for managing 200+ projects utilizing 700 multi discipline craftsmen with an estimated budget of $800M. I developed and wrote procedures for scheduling and planning processes. Implemented project baselines, managed updates, ran weekly and monthly meetings, generating reports for client managers, engineering, project managers and contractors. As Project Superintendent, I was directly responsible for 100+ multi-craft tradesmen for execution of projects in collaboration with the Project Improvement Team, Expansion and Start up. Handled HSE and all related construction activities. Managed QA/QC, KPI’s, schedules; played key role in safety audits, incident investigations and disciplinary actions. Strengthened time in the field with implementation of the two-break work schedule. Received certification and delivered training for the Beyond Zero Safety culture as well as Supervisory skills.
