About Tim Kreuzer

I work as a self-employed Machine Learning Consultant on integrating scalable, production-ready ML pipelines into industrial applications, collaborating with an industrial partner in Germany to optimize production line efficiency and product quality. I am a seasoned full-stack ML engineer, and I have worked on all application layers with different tools and frameworks. I'm in the end of my PhD at Stockholm University, specializing in time series forecasting, explainability, and digital twins. In my research, I develop new algorithms to both forecast time series data and provide insights into those predictions with explainability techniques. I have since applied the knowledge gained during this period to make an impact in different ML projects running in production. Before pursuing my PhD, I gained valuable experience in software engineering and data science at the University of Bolzano and during my work as a data scientist at alpitronic. Additionally, I applied machine learning techniques to computational neuroscience projects at OIST. This diverse background fuels my passion for bridging cutting-edge algorithmic research with real-world industrial challenges.
