A few examples of my contributions: Implemented strategy for a product that became the industry-preferred cell phone cooling solution. Achieved related patent litigation victory and developed a lucrative second source licensing program. Established multiple patent portfolios, including a pivotal optical fiber coating portfolio for Corning Inc; a consumer electronic device portfolio that enabled GrafTech’s flexible graphite business to grow threefold; and an autonomous vehicle patent portfolio currently used by NeoGraf to drive its EV strategy. Partnered with R&D team in 2019 to develop a new fuel cell product, which was the leading EBITDA contributor in 2020. Teamed with R&D to develop a patent portfolio, which is applicable to foldable devices and 5G technology. Negotiated royalty-bearing IP licenses in the 12% to 18% range. Negotiated a Tech Transfer License renewal with higher royalties resulting in 20%+ increase in annual revenue.
