I am currently serving as a Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Graduate Intern at Amtrak. In this role, I have contributed to strategic planning efforts to enhance Amtrak's culture, focusing on psychological safety and belonging. My work has been recognized with the "Amtrak Impact Award" for my contributions to the organization, particularly in developing a comprehensive playbook for launching and managing high-performing employee resource groups (ERGs).Previously, as Head of Community for the Engineering Leadership Community, I oversaw the learning and development of software engineering people-leaders, achieving a 75% YoY community membership increase through needs assessments, industry research, and subject matter expert consultations. I also excelled in project management, successfully planning and executing both virtual and in-person conferences to provide exceptional experiences for vendors, attendees, and sponsors.My dedication to organizational development also extends into the non-profit space. As the Volunteer Development Director for Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, Inc, I led recruitment, training, and recognition strategies for over 2,800 volunteers nationwide. Under my leadership, the organization experienced significant growth and improved volunteer retention. I was also a member of the company's HR Committee and contributed to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.With a solid educational foundation including pursuing an M.Ed in Leadership and Organizational Performance from Vanderbilt University, along with a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida, I am equipped with the knowledge and skills to drive positive change in organizations.
