I am a senior leader with 35+ years’ experience in board-level consultancy, non-executive roles, public sector leadership and military command. My career has been characterised by enterprise-level change leadership and navigating complexity to find practical solutions. I have a wealth of expertise in governing or leading strategy, mega-scale transformation, operational excellence and business development. Highlights: Non-Executive and Board Consultant for scale-ups, SMEs and multinationals: Currently available for additional NED and consultancy roles, my expertise includes vision and strategy for growth, business models and organisational design, digitally-enabled business transformation, operational excellence, risk management and organisational resilience, as well as business development, public sector procurement and crown commercial frameworks. Director and Senior Responsible Owner of mega-projects for major public sector departments, HMRC and BEIS. I led technology and digital transformations that consolidated decades of legacy systems to improve customer experience and operational efficiency, defined the first enterprise data strategy for Europe’s largest data controller, and played a leading role in creating a UK Customs Border with the EU / Rest of World for BREXIT. Former British Army Brigadier, with roles including Deputy Commanding General of the 3rd (US) Armoured Corps and Strategy & Policy Director for US Central Command.
