About Tim Lai

I have always been a little scientist as a kid. The thirst of knowing "why" something functioned the way it did, was more intriguing than just knowing how it worked. That in turn, was what made me so focused on the academics of science at a young age. However, my parents were both business people. They always spoke on the importance of being reliable and delivering on your promises; striving to be ahead of the curve; and most importantly, being a servant leader at home, work, and my community.As I gradually grew into adulthood, these key life drivers merged into one. The chemist and the businessman in me came together, both strongholds in my analytical processes.Doing business is much more than just about making money. Doing business is how many people achieve their hopes and dreams to provide a better life for themselves and their families. And in doing so, building a business can also create value for employees, customers, and society.
