About Tim Larson

Tim Larson began his real estate development career in 1986 specializing in small infill condominium and apartment complex in the North Park/Hillcrest Area of San Diego, California. He oversaw all aspects including site acquisition, financing, architectural planning, construction management as well as end sale or lease up. In 1988 a down zoning of infill neighborhoods in San Diego brought a shift to larger condominium along with a few SFR tract home developments. The recession in the 1990’s lead Larson along with his partner to a shift to more value add type projects which were purchased directly from lenders including several condominium conversion, office, retail, restaurant/bar and loft apartment projects many of which were located in the Gaslamp quarter in downtown San Diego. As recovery came and real estate prices rose rapidly, Mr. Larson concentrated his effort on the construction, management and sale of the firms acquired assets. By 2005 he felt prices were fundamental to high in San Diego and relocated to Denver Colorado were he founded and serves as principal of Residential Ventures LLC, a firm specializing in the development, construction and management of infill apartment complexes. During his 25 year career Mr. Larson has developed over 40 projects including over residential units and sq ft of commercial space. He was educated at the University of Pacific, school of business in Stockton, California and holds a degree with an emphasis in finance and accounting, he has been a licensed real estate broker in California since 1985.
